Hello,
The archive of the old
alt.usage.english
newsgroup
seems not longer searchable with the form at
https://groups.google.com/g/alt.usage.english
I was able to fill in the form and get results just days ago.
When you say 'fill the form', are you referring to the search box at the
top of the page?
I tried it with Firefox and Librewolf, and they both work.
Not a sign of progress.
Any alternatives?
Best.

so it works with Firefox, too.
THere's a Jp Net-slang for this situation, and
it is
Oma-kan

--------- which means:

i bet it's just your (computing) env., ha ha ha!!!

On Sept.13 (Friday) Gmail started forcing all of us to
use the full GUI
(before this date, PC users could use the light Mobile GUI)

it's ok on Edge, but the GUI is sometimes very slow in Firefox
(esp. the initial Loading of Gmail full GUI)

i just tried using Edge and

Google discontinued it (in Feb)
because they thought was no Money in it ???
