Ah yes, the old 'trumpery' joke.

As an outsider, there are things I don't understand. For instance: Trump
said he wanted to make America great again (it may have been 'grate';
I've heard it but not seen it written). Harris now says that America is
the greatest nation on Earth. Is she saying that Trump succeeded?

(Pots and kettles? Scotland did for a while describe itself as "the best
small country in the world". No-one ever did explain how those
responsible had arrived at that conclusion.

I do wonder at the amount of time the BBC devotes to American elections.
Given that US elections drag on and on, for months and months - or is it
years? - and that there is some coverage every day, I suspect it adds up
to far more than our national broadcaster gives to British elections. If
so, is this right and proportionate? It's certainly tiresome.

Yes... The Liberal-Acrobatic-Superhearing...

When Trump says [MAGA] (Make America Great Again)
-- omg... the Horrors! What a vulgar, LOW thing to say!

But when a Democrat says almost the same thing.... .....

Just guessing, NO.

it's insulting. Many parents think their baby is the cutest baby itn eh
world. Would you go up to them and tell them there are cuter babies? You
might not but trump would. He has 3 and only** 3 skills: insulting
people, lying, and hate-mongering. Whatever he says can be seen in
light of his habits.

** I consider cheating people a subset of lying.

She didn't say at all the same thing. She said American was the
greatest; she didn't imply that it wasn't, as trump did with "again".

I note that you did not quote her. If you choose to, include enough
context so the context will be clear.

If [Trumpery] means (see below), What does [Kamalary] mean?
Funnily, using a mere metathesis, the word becomes "Kalamary"
(pronounced as "calamari",
the cephalopod), which summons the image of an octopus.

Now, also using a metathesis, "octopus" becomes "ocpotus" and also
changing the C to a K,
okpotus ==> "OK POTUS" - so one could argue she might become president
of the United States.
